Privacy Policy.
Getaccio ("Getaccio", "we", "us") operates getaccio.io, an AI sales-development tool that researches prospects, scores their fit, and drafts personalized cold emails that you send from your own mailbox. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices. It applies to our website and the Getaccio application.
1. Information we collect
- Account data — your name, business name, email address, and password (stored only as a salted hash) when you sign up or are invited to a workspace.
- Contact data you upload — the prospect records you import (names, business email addresses, company names, countries) so the tool can research the company and draft an email. You are the controller of this data; we process it on your behalf.
- Knowledge-base content — documents, transcripts, URLs, and ICP details you add to describe your own offering.
- Mailbox connection — if you connect Google Workspace or Office 365 for sending, we store your SMTP host, address, and an encrypted app password (AES-256-GCM). We use it only to send the emails you choose to send.
- Usage & technical data — log data, IP address, and product activity used to operate, secure, and improve the service.
2. How we use information
- To provide the service: research a prospect's company (via web search), classify fit, and generate the email drafts you request.
- To send emails you explicitly choose to send, from your connected mailbox.
- To operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the product, and to enforce trial and plan limits.
- To communicate with you about your account, security, and support.
3. AI processing
To generate pitches and power the in-app assistant, prospect and knowledge-base content is sent to our AI provider (Anthropic's Claude) and to web-search to research the company. We do not use your contact lists or knowledge base to train any third-party model, and our AI provider does not train on data sent through the API.
4. How we share information
We do not sell your data. We share it only with service providers that help us run the product — our cloud/hosting infrastructure, our AI provider (Anthropic), and email-delivery infrastructure — each under contractual confidentiality and solely to provide the service. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights and users.
5. Data retention
We keep account and workspace data for as long as your account is active. You can delete contacts, lists, knowledge documents, and pitch history at any time inside the app. When you close your account, we delete or anonymize associated data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law.
6. Security
Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and access is scoped per workspace — members of one account cannot see another account's contacts, pitches, knowledge, or history. Mailbox credentials are encrypted at rest and never returned to the browser. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.
7. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can exercise most of these directly in the app, or contact us at privacy@getaccio.io. Because much of the contact data in your workspace belongs to your prospects, you are responsible for having a lawful basis to process it (see our Terms).
8. International transfers
We may process data in countries other than where you live. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
9. Children
Getaccio is a business tool and is not directed to anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
10. Changes
We may update this policy; we will revise the "last updated" date and, for material changes, notify you in-app or by email.
